Where Hidden Order Becomes Foresight

Pioneering Scientific World Models for Materials A new frontier of scientific intelligence, transforming how we understand, predict, and create.

From Language to the Laws of Matter

Language models learn to represent knowledge.
Scientific world models aim to understand, simulate, and predict how the physical world behaves.

AI describes what happens

How does a dissolved substance become a crystal?

Crystallization begins when a solution becomes supersaturated. Dissolved building blocks assemble into stable nuclei, which grow as more material joins their surfaces.

Slow cooling often favors fewer, larger crystals. Rapid cooling can create many nuclei at once, distributing the available material among smaller crystals.

Concentration changes the starting point. A richer solution may reach supersaturation sooner, while a dilute solution can remain clear under the same conditions.

For substances whose solubility rises with temperature, warming can dissolve crystals back into solution. The outcome depends on the substance and its cooling history.
